SCIENCE HR
SCIENCE HR is in charge of the administration of personnel and pay matters for all departments at SCIENCE.
We have legal specialist who provide advice on appointments, dismissals and matters related to employment law in general. We are responsible for the handling of disciplinary proceedings and dismissal procedures at SCIENCE. Moreover, we have specialists who provide advice on special staff-related management challenges.
On behalf of the dean, SCIENCE HR recruits tenured assistant professors, associate professors, professors, vice deans and heads of department. We also advise the departments at SCIENCE about recruitment processes, staff development and skills development.
SCIENCE HR is responsible for the Faculty's pay policy, personnel policy, etc. on the basis of University of Copenhagen's personnel policy guidelines.
The SCIENCE OHS team is part of SCIENCE HR – we provide advice on OHS and supports the SCIENCE Occupational Health and Safety Committee (FAMU).

Section for Administration and Recruitment
Section for Administration and Recruitment oversees most of the HR Center's operational tasks. The Section focuses on high reliability in the tasks with both high quality and efficiency.

The section for employment law handles the processing of disciplinary cases and cases concerning dismissal.

Section for Development and OHS
The section advices and supports the Dean, Faculty director, heads of department and heads of administration concerning pay negotiations in both recruitments and in the annual pay negotiations (pay statistics, negotiation strategy and process for the local pay negotiations). The SCIENCE OHS team is part of SCIENCE HR – we provide advice on OHS and supports the SCIENCE Occupational Health and Safety Committee (FAMU).
