The annual PhD Graduation Ceremony at SCIENCE

On 18 September 2026, 14:45-18:00 at the Margrethe Bohr Auditorium, Jagtvej 132, 2200 Copenhagen N.

Completing a PhD programme at the University of Copenhagen is an achievement that deserves special recognition.  The Faculty of Science warmly congratulates you on the title and reaching this important milestone. It is our great pleasure to invite you and your fellow graduates to celebrate this accomplishment at the annual PhD Graduation Ceremony at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen.

The event is held for candidates who have been awarded their PhD degree between 1 June 2025 and 31 May 2026. PhD supervisors are also invited to attend.

You are welcome to bring up to two guests. Your principal supervisor will also be invited to the ceremony. Please enter your name (and the names of any accompanying guests) in the registration form below no later than 24 August 2025.

We very much look forward to welcoming you.

Please note: The acoustics in the auditorium are excellent; however, this also means that any noise is easily amplified, making it difficult to hear the speakers if, for example, children are playing or crying. We have therefore made an adjoining, easily accessible room available for children.

Children are welcome in the auditorium provided they remain quiet.
