For companies

Are you from a company, NGO or public authority and interested in hearing more about your opportunities to participate in a SCIENCE matchmaking event?

The matchmaking events provides you and your company with an opportunity to meet SCIENCE students with a variety of skills and knowledge.

Why join a matchmaking event?

  • Meet students to collaborate with on their BSc, MSc thesis and other projects
  • Attract students and spark an interest in them for your company
  • Meet researchers at SCIENCE and discuss possibilities for collaboration.
  • Meet other companies and organisations from both the public and private sectors.

Please note

To participate it is essential that you see potentials for collaboration with students on an academic project (BSc Project, MSc thesis, Project in Practice) within one or more of the focus areas. You will need to write a short project proposal prior to your participation. The proposal should include a short introduction to your company/organization and a short description of the challenges, project(s) or themes, that you would like to collaborate with a student about.  See example of a short project proposal from a previuos event. The SCIENCE Matchmaking Team will be happy to give you more details on your participation.

Former participants say:

”The event seems like a great opportunity for students and employers to meet and discuss collaboration. Much more effective than an unsolicited application.” (Company at Sustainable Cities 2018)

“I would very much like to participate again and maintain a connection between the students and the projects I’m working on” (Company at Water, Climate & Environment 2019)

”As a company it is useful for us to participate in the event when it comes to student contact but also contact to the university” (Company at Geo Water Environment 2017)

"Since the event, I have been in contact with another company and am looking into the possibilities of further collaboration” (Company at Safety & Traceability 2019)
